Varun Indra Gajra
Managing Director

Varun started his first company when he was 14 and has first-hand experience in Manufacturing, Financial Markets and Consulting. He has acquired significant international experience in financial, legal and compliance environments over the last 15 years. Varun worked with JP Morgan Chase and HDFC Standard Life Insurance before founding GPZ.

Giriraj Pai Vernekar
Executive Director

Giriraj is a Policy Consultant, specializing in the areas of Aerospace, Defense and Security related matters. He has also served in the Government, as Special Assistant to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, during 2012-2015. During this period, he observed and participated in policymaking. He was also the Founder General Secretary of NGO ‘Friends of Good Governance’ which played a stellar role in the change of Government Policy in Goa in the year 2012.

Celeste Zhu
Executive Director

Celeste has spent a significant amount of time across India, South East Asia and Europe working with companies in different verticals. She has an in-depth understanding of the Indian, Chinese and Belgian business environment and possesses extensive experience in building relationships between Indian and Chinese and Belgian companies. Celeste has worked hands-on to set up manufacturing units for a number of clients. She can speak Chinese, English, and Tamil.

Tom Hertsens
Director

With over 20 years of experience, Tom has rich experience in business management and multinational resources and has built an excellent international network. He currently works in a senior management role in the technology sector at a major Fortune 100 company. Tom is based in Ghent.

Matthieu Lecompte
Director

Matthieu is a professional lawyer and a member of the Belgian Bar Association, based in Belgium. Matthieu graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ghent University, and worked in a well-known Belgian law firm. He is an external legal consultant to a number of well-known companies. He has an excellent track record in working in contract law, construction law, tort liability law, public international law, and government procurement. Matthieu is fluent in Dutch, French, English and German.

Chathuka Senanayake
Director

Chathuka is a young entrepreneur, who hails from a founding family of Sri Lanka. He has acquired years of experience in Government and semi-Government sectors, playing a pivotal role in developing the roadmap for Colombo Vision 2020 and Public Utility Infrastructure, in collaboration with key Government agencies, boards of investment, urban planners and construction firms.
